New Caledonia International Marathon

Set around the picturesque bays of Nouméa, the New Caledonia International Marathon has become a key event in the annual sporting calendar.  Established in 1983, the New Caledonia International Marathon has become a major event in the New Caledonian sporting calendar attracting a high level of international competitors from around the world including Europe, Africa, Pacific Islands and Japan. 

The New Caledonia International Marathon is an Olympic-level qualifying event for the French Championships. World class runners battle for victory over 42.195 km along a spectacularly scenic route winding around Nouméa’s bays. There are also options available for all levels, with a half-marathon on offer too.
