The Convicts and Wenches Ultra Marathon is held in the Narawntapu National Park at Greens Beach just north of Launceston. The race is designed to commemorate our heritage. To have descended from convict stock was once considered a blemish, but is now regarded as a badge of honour. The events starts and finishes at Green's Beach, opposite the Caravan Park. Free car parking is available in the surrounding streets.
Situated at West Head car park at 6k (also 44k), Badger's headland at 11k (also 39) and 25k amd tje turnaround for the 50km at the end of Bakers Beach. These stations will carry water. Hammer Nutrition sports drink, Coca-Cola, bananas and lollies.
Racebibs: Racebibs will be available in the race precinct area from 7:00am.
Included and available for collection with your race pack.
Trophies to 1, 2 & 3 male and female in each of the solo events. Trophy for first relay team and prizes for the best dressed convict and best dressed wench.
As many photos as possible will be taken on race day, Images will be available for viewing and purchase soon after the race.
